Fall Fun

This weekend started out with Grandpa Dave, Cory and Mark coming up from Iowa/Illinois to pick up Scott for the Iowa/Mich. State game, woohoo!!!! They wanted to watch Hayden's football game too so they came up on Friday, little did we know that when we got to the field they would be cancelling the game due to a wet field?!?!
Hayden with all his fans who came out to see him that day, thanks for coming everyone, we appreciated it! (Uncle Cory, Uncle Mark, Grandpa David, Grandpa Mike and Bella)

On the way back from picking Scott up on Sunday we stopped at the Red Barn in Illinois since we needed two more pumpkins. We only got one while we were at Elegant Farmer.

The kids got to play in some neat things they had set up. Bella loved going through this and Scott was trying to video her while she was inside.

Our Little Pumpkins!

The kids loved to see the pigs up close, Scott and I were not loving the smell of the area but the kids didn't seem to mind, ha ha ha.

Hayden on top of a haystack.

Hayden helping Bella through a little kiddie maze.

Child labor, ha ha ha!

Then we cleaned and carved them when we got home and of course had the kids help for all of about 5 minutes! Scott and I talked about it and we definitely appreciate that our parents probably did most of the work when we were kids too!!

We took the kids outside on the steps afterwards to take some pictures with their pumpkins.

We took some pictures of our house all decorated for Halloween too. You can't see everything but you get the idea. Hayden loves to play with the spider webs as you can see.

Weekend in Iowa

We spent last weekend in Iowa to visit with the family and head to the Iowa vs. Arizona State game with the boys, Hayden and Bryce. We try to take the boys to a game a year now that they are older and able to understand what Iowa football is all about. The girl's got some play time together and man are they all so very different and yet so a like in other ways. It was great to see everyone. Can't wait to see you all up here in Madison. GO HAWKS!

We took Michaela, Hayden and Bryce on the Hawkeye train. The kids definitely have fun doing this and it's such a good way to get past all the crazy traffic in Iowa City. Now if it would just a run a little longer after the game it would be great!

The Yearian's tailgating.

Just us girls!
Michaela, Stacy, Hayley and I, we should've had Mom come in this one too!!

Scott, Ross and Matt

Cory and Bryce on the jumbotron! I tried to get Scott and Hayden's pic up there too and then Hayden and Bella's but my phone of course was acting up!

Bella with her Auntie and Godmother Stacy.

These two got to hang out with Auntie Barb all day while we were at the game. She said they played very well together which of course Scott and I were glad about since when we left Bella was screaming at the top of her lungs! Thanks again so much Barb!

What a mess you have made of Grandma's house!!

Harvest Fair 2009

We headed to Harvest Fair this year at State Fair park to watch the Packer game, eat some good food, play in the hay and purchase some good produce from local farmers.

The Yearian's at Harvest Fair

Me and my Hubby, still representing Iowa (shirt) for their big win over Penn State!

Hayden and his Daddy.

My mom and Grandma came to the fair too. Auntie Jackie was there working the fair but I didn't get a picture of her like last year. Sorry AJ if you feel left out. (BEER SERVER or do you wear a shirt that says WINE SERVER now?)

Great Grandma with Scott and Bella.

Great Grandma and her Grandbabies.

My cousin Nicole was there with her two little ones. It was great to see you three.

Daddy helping Hayden decorate his cookie this year. What fun, sugar on top of sugar and then sprinkled with sugary colors and topped off with some yummy sugary candies. Dentist here we come!

Bella wanted in on the action so mommy gave in and sugared her up with some frosting too.

How's the end result Hayden?

My babies playing in all the hay leftover from scarecrow making.

Hayden's first time on the Tilt-A-Whirl. He was not happy that mommy suggested it. The videos below show you him on it with Scott and then the aftermath!

Then to round out our time at the fair my loves took to the slide.
